Contrasting with the modernity of the hotel, the “Su Barraccu” restaurant is a delightful place to re-live the ancient cultural and culinary traditions of the interior of Sardinia.Built in stone and wood, it recalls the unique architecture of the shepherds’ houses found in the mountains.Localcustoms and art, with their simplicity and honesty are, unfortunately, disappearing, and for this reason the hotel has created a restaurant where the typical local recipes and foods such as prosciutto and boar sausages, the renowned sheep’s cheeses and the red wines of the Barbagia come together in such a way, whether for lunch or dinner, as to leave the guest with some unforgettable moments.
And it’s here that you will find the genuineness of local foods, straight from our farm, which distinguish the wonderful flavours of the meat, spit-roasted over open fires, and the hand-made pasta.
All of this will be enhanced and enlivened by watching the shows of local folklore which take place in the restaurant and accompany the lunch or the dinner, including exhibitions of dancing and local singers dressed in the traditional costume of Fonni.
