Skiing in Sardinia: snow on Bruncu Spina and Mt. Spada.
Surrounded by the snow of the Gennargentu and the nature of the Barbagia region, you will find the Bruncu Spina ski resort (Fonni), the only winter ski resort in Sardinia equipped with lifts and services for skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts.
From February 12th, 2015 the ski lifts will open on the occasion of the 2015 Carnival until February 23rd, conditional on the weather.
There are two ski-lifts, a 200 meter long hand-drag, for the ski camp, and a 926 meter long ski lift, which can take about 800 people per hour up to a height of 1820 meters.
There are three well-trodden ski slopes: for alpine skiing and snowboarding, as well as an interesting one for off-piste skiing.
